Krane at Lim College's event for NDSS, New York NY

We recently took a trip to New York to check out an event that we participated in, in Support of NDSS (National Down Syndrome Society).

Date April 16, 2010
Location: Altman Building, New York, NY
Host: Lim College's fashion collective

Our friend Mister Lee (from New York's OWN magazine) spearheaded the event with Fashion Show Director Alex Chapman. The theme for the show was Dystopian society with styling inspiration taken from the likes of Mad Max and Rick Deckard in Blade runner.

Two looks from KRANE were submitted that included the new ready to wear and evolving leather accessories. We were especially impressed with the styling in look number two, which showcases how you can wear the Elliot anorak on your back when you don't feel like checking your coat. This look is styled with the Oleh lambskin jersey skeleton, and the Niles washed leather jeans...new for the FW10 season.

Other participating designers included, Costume National, Shipley & Halmos, Florsheim by Duckie Brown, Kai-aakman (Korea), Chromat (USA), Injury (Australia), The Local Firm (Sweden), and Moon (USA). Jewellery provided by Candace Ang (womens) and Bing Bang(mens)
